أواخر شهر ديسمبر 2025م،
زار دبي الكاتب والأكاديمي د. محسن الرملي، بدعوة من إدارة مكتبات دبي
العامة للمشاركة في ندوة عن (واقع الرواية في العالم العربي)، وتقديم ورشة
عن (تقنيات السرد الروائي)، التي تم وصفها لاحقاً، بأنها: "رحلة
متكاملة في عالم السرد الإبداعي خاضها المشاركون في ورشة عمل (تقنيات السرد
الروائي) مع د. محسن الرملي في مكتبة الصفا للفنون والتصميم ضمن مبادرة (حديث
المكتبات). حيث تعرفوا على تقنيات كتابة الروايات وشخصياتها وأحداثها، ثم
حولوا المهارات التي اكتسبوها إلى تجربة إبداعية عبر التدريب والتوجيه، كما
استكشفوا مرحلة ما بعد الكتابة في الموازنة بين الواقع والخيال، وآلية النشر. بما
أسهم في صقل أساليبهم الإبداعية وتطوير صوتهم السردي الخاص.

Participants enjoyed a comprehensive journey into the world of
creative storytelling during the ‘Narrative Techniques in the Novel’
workshop with Dr. Muhsin Al-Ramli at Al Safa Art & Design Library,
as part of the LibraryTalks initiative. There, they learned about novel writing
techniques, characters, and plots, then applied new skills in a creative
experience through training and guidance. Attendees also explored the
post-writing stage, balancing reality and imagination, and the publishing
process, helping to refine their creative techniques and develop their unique
narrative voices.
